Was near 910 S Highland Ave on 5/21/24 around 7:30a while walking my dog and deer came out of nowhere, charged at us and would not back down; came as close as a foot from us. Another dog walker on Maxwell heard the commotion and helped distract it so we were able to get away. Do not feel safe at all walking around the area since I'm guessing there is a fawn nearby.
Owner/occupants are not mowing the grass.
The owners of this house leave a boat parked on the street at least 5 days/nights a week. It is in a cul-du-sac. In addition to the boat, they park at least one, sometimes two huge trucks on the street. This makes it difficult for, not only neighbors to get through the street, but also the trash truck and possibly emergency vehicles.

Hello, I am writing in support of local urban agriculture. I was very glad to discover GardenQ at 2110 E Covenanter and want to express my support for community based agriculture and education. I recently wrote about strategies for sustainable food policy (“Putting Food in the Driver’s Seat: Aligning food systems policy to advance sustainability, health, and security,” in Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems, September 2023), and I believe their efforts are forward-facing in making Bloomington a hub and example for urban agriculture. Bird scooter blocking the sidewalk for over 7days on the corner of the North side of East 3rd and S. Meadowbrook Dr.
A big, white delivery van parks here often. It leaks oil and has created an oil patch on the street out front.
About ten "Bird" scooters are parked on the street on Grant just north of 7th. There is no scooter corral at this location, and they are blocking a parking spot for cars.

Just witnessed a near miss of two vehicles including a City bus at 10th and Smith. Please collaborate with INDOT for safety improvements at that intersection for vehicles turning left from Smith. They aren't taking citizen concerns seriously but would better receive input from Transit and the City. Please reach out. It's very dangerous.
