Yard Waste
- Case Date:
- 4/6/2016
Why has yard waste not been picked up last week or this week in Park Ridge East? This isn't just mine but neighbors as well. Thanks.

I would like to suggest bicycle direction signs for: 1) path between E Caradon Hill to E Winslow rd 2) path on S Wexley Rd at E Rock Creek Dr 3) path at end of E Maxwell Lane to S Nota Dr, a sign at S High St and E Maxwell to direct bikes to continue along the "dead end". These are three great bike links that don't have any signs for them and are much safer for bikes when they are used as opposed to the road options in those area (and time saving!). Jaclyn Ray
Trash all over sidewalks in front of ATT building and stone mansion 301 and 321 n Washington.
White powdery, flour like substance on walking trail in Butler park similar to what I saw workers cleaning off the B-Line. Location is NW of the pavilions. Not sure if it is significant.
Complaintant states that there is a light post adjacent to unit 2349 that has fallen down and has power to the light.
423/425 S. Grant St, the alley between the buildings have many pot holes and broken up pavement. 439/441 S. Dunn St. The alley off 2nd st. has numerous pot holes that need to be patched.
I am so grateful for the new traffic light at the intersection of Bloomfield rd and Rolling Ridge Way (exiting Twin Lakes Rec Center), but I cannot wait until you have paved the remaining part of the exit. There is a pretty nasty sharp ridge now that my tires don't like at all. Thanks!
Construction hazards on SARE Rd, lanes not properly shut down, no signs, construction had me in standstill traffic for OVER TEN MINUTES on my way to work this morning at 8 AM, should NOT be allowed to close lanes during morning rush hour, people holding signs to direct traffic were not coordinating with each other causing more hazards, again very upset they are even allowed to close lanes that early on a job that is nonemergency, will continue to complain to every channel necessary to get this RIDICULOUS problem solved so I am not late to work again
The construction crew on South Sare road at the new apartments started setting up safety barrels at 7:45am. They blocked traffic for 10 min. They had no signs up, and there were to many of the workers standing and talking to the flaggers keeping them distracted and in the road making the conditions unsafe to the workers and motorists. One worker was laughing and turned without looking and almost got hit by 1 of the many drivers that were forced to turn around in the middle of the street due to being late for work and very long lines. Several of the workers did not have their safety helmets or safety vests on. And the last several work days they have left the road in muddy conditions making the road slippery when it rains. I live in the apartments adjacent to the construction site and have witnessed cars slightly sliding when they have to hit theirs brakes quickly due to the heavy traffic and the heavy population in the area. Please have the crews take care of the safety issues and concerns. I know when I was inspecting for smithville communications during their mass construction a few years ago that I was asked to have the crews I was in charge of to wait until after 8am to set up any work that required a flagger unless it was an ongoing job and the barrels were left out from the previous day with a temporary stop light and warning signs. Thank you Ben Kirk
I would like to request a Caution Children at Play sign and/or speed limit signage for my street. I live on Owens Drive on the west side near the movie theater. We have a lot of traffic go through our neighborhood that miss their turn into the movie theater. There are many that drive as fast as they can around our circle--Wynnedale and Owens Drive--to make it back to the stoplight. There are children in the neighborhood and it creates an unsafe situation with the drivers who are choosing their own speed. Thank you for the consideration! Misty Crouch
