Recently we were notified that Grant Street (from 8th Street to 6th Street) would be closed for the filming of the upcoming LITTLE FIVE film being released from Somewhere Pictures. On Tuesday (7/21) all of Grant Street and parts of 6th Street near the Runcible Spoon were covered in littered confetti from the filming location. Attached are photos from between 6th and 7th on Grant Street, which shows the negligence of the production company. This is not something the City of Bloomington should be responsible for, and the Board of Public Works needs to be notified of the short coming/disrespect for our community. This needs to be passed up the chain, as the City of Bloomington Waste Management should not be responsible for this.

The WEEDS and very few flowers are blocking the view exiting from 918 w 2nd street to 2nd street . This is UNSAFE.

Not clear which property (113 or 125) is responsible, but plants at the property line on 10th Street have grown-up out so far that they block people walking down the sidewalk making them have to step into the street, which is dangerous.

Drivers who turn from Walnut up East Hillside and speeding is a problem. Hillside is a hill, and many drivers think this is a speedway. I am requesting a stoplight, yield sign, or better yet, a series of speed bumps, much like were installed on Washington Street. Pickup trucks seems to be the main issue, though muscle cars like to think of this as their raceway. The sidewalk is already directly next to the street, and we have to deal with large trucks withing 12-15 inches of our walking path. This can't be avoided. Speeding can be negated some. I am the property manager at 1201 S. Grant St., and the property next to our at 1203 S. Grant has a lot of plant debris growing on our fence and our retaining wall. There is also a tree pushing against the fence and branches hanging over the fence. Hoping to know if it’s ok to at least cute off the branches over the fence on our side, and also to have the owner, which is Granite Student Living, take action on the invasives up against our fence and retaining wall. I have left a message with the compliance officer for our neighborhood, Steve Tamowitz. Thank you very much.
