I’m wondering when the city is going to smooth something about the illegal camping inside, outside, and all around RCA park and in the woods north of Cherokee Dr. There is a continuous line of homeless, all day and night, with luggage, carts, and camping gear going back through the neighborhoods. They scream, fight, harass, and throw garbage everywhere and the mayor let them camp here so they still think it’s ok even though it is clearly illegal. They’ve also been burning garage and plastic the past 4 nights, which wait for it, is also illegal. Seriously, the mayor ran on addressing this problem and letting them destroy a different neighborhood is not a solution. We have little to no police presence over here and these people have been breaking multiple laws including trespassing as well. What are you guys doing about any of this?
S College Mall Rd at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse: broken sidewalk, requesting repair to make wheelchair accessible
Curb near "Gates Dr @ Sherwin Williams" Route 16 bus stop not accessible: overgrown weeds through what I believe is broken sidewalk. Wheelchair user trying to access Kohls and Lowe's plazas via fixed route bus.
Large Yellowjacket nest next to street in tree between the street and public sidewalk. They are swarming and flying in and out of the nest constantly. This area has children from a daycare center and nursing home residents walking by every day all day. These are black aggressive yellowjackets that are constantly in the air. Is this something the city takes care of?
We have ground hogs that are digging holes around our foundation in the back and side of the house.
Many street signs are missing downtown. With new IU students and faculty moving into town missing street signs need to be put up. Please have your street department drive around and check. There are too many for me to list here but start off by putting signs up at 8 th and Grant and 9 th and Grant Streets.
Dangerously uneven sidewalk. Difficult to navigate for wheelchair users
