There are two chains that are supposed to be connected to seats and then into the ground that are broken off. They just need repaired because some bigger kids are pulling them back and swinging them hard around other kids.

"Is it illegal to drive this kind of e-motorbikes on the park trails?" I think that all motorized vehicles are prohibited on park trails by city ordinances. I am not talking about on the streets. If so, why we should wait for the review at the October meeting of the Transportation Commission. You also said that "Even with a new ordinance, regulating this type of behavior as it happens will be difficult." It seems that you don't realize the seriousness of this. Even with a new ordinance, if the City does not take this seriously, what is the point of these all new ordinances? Please put a police officer between 4-7 pm on the Jackson Creek trails to issue the citations and warnings to these kids. It is just a matter of time before somebody seriously get injured or worse. PLEASE.
Building and Trades Park is a great neighborhood park that receives frequent use by diverse groups and individuals. This park is not a "blight", as others have described. The recent improvements to the park, including the pavilion and accessible trail, are well-utilized and appreciated. As a Prospect Hill resident, I look forward to continued improvements to the park in the near future. I trust that the Parks Department will engage with the various stakeholder groups who regularly utilize this park when considering what additional improvements are needed. One quick suggestion: have a Movies in the Park night here, I'm sure the neighborhood would come out for it. Keep up the good work!

It’s clear that Building and Trades park is not a priority as renovations have paused but it would be great if there was more attention paid to it. The playgrounds are routinely flanked by people gambling, smoking, using drugs, and unleashed dogs. MSI Security comes through and does nothing more than scan a QR code. The playgrounds are rarely used by children anymore. Just because Hopewell can’t get its act together doesn’t mean that the park should be left to rot. There are citizens and families in this neighborhood that deserve better instead of waiting for tenants in a. neighborhood that doesn’t exist. How about resurfacing the basketball courts? How about taking notice of the positive ways the park gets used and supporting those, instead of updating a single pavilion that most people are scared to use?
I haven't been able to fully assess this, but: cars heading northbound at 17th & Dunn appear not to be triggering the light. (This happened to me a week or two ago, as well - which may also have been the day after an IU football game?) If southbound cars are turning left, northbound ones never get a green (during a particular "round"), but if southbound cars are going straight, then there's a bidirectional green. Or a pedestrian hitting a button for a walk sign will get a green.
