Sidewalk coming up the hill from the goat farm on Winslow road tis frequently overgrown and hard to walk on. Brush between the street and sidewalk needs to be extensively cleaned out. Thanks!
Tenants need a friendly reminder that trash and recycling cans must be removed from the curb/sidewalk within 24 hours after trash collection. It is Thursday now. Cans are still there.
The S. Walnut / Miller Drive traffic light isn't working properly after the utility work was done at the intersection last month. The Miller Dr light cycles green when there are no cars and it stays red on S. Walnut for 40 seconds...way too long for no cars on Miller.
During the fall of 2020, annual maintenance of the electric wires on the right side of the street (heading south) was done. I don’t know if it’s the city, Duke Energy, or a company who performs this task but today I am writing to complain about the results of the work. It affects the following locations * Beginning at 1816 S High heading south through 2011 S High * And again beginning at 2020 S High heading south through 2021 S High As an avid gardener, it is painful to look at the way the trees are trimmed in the first place. This is the most egregious offense. And just as important, the trees and limbs that were removed are randomly thrown on the ground and it is a visual eyesore. When I look at this I wonder why all the trees aren’t just removed from both stretches on South High? Who is responsible for this mess and what can be done about it? It is shoddy work and our town of Bloomington shouldn’t allow for it.
Sidewalk along Landmark has no curb ramp on one end for wheelchairs and power chairs to get on and off. And on the other end which was just redone really has no curb ramp either. You might be able to drive an RC car on it that how narrow the flat spot is. You cant drive a chair up on it because its not flat. People in wheelchairs and Powerchairs are avoiding this and going the wrong way down the street towards 3rd in a blind curve. Its only a matter of time before a car rounds that blind curve to find a wheel chair user in the lane also heading towards them. We just had a girl stuck out there today trying to get on the sidewalk but couldn't. Somebody is gonna get hit. Please let us know how we can help you help this matter. Best Wishes, Kevin.
