This ticket is so I can attach more photos in support of Service Request ID: 214051. This picture is taken with me driving East on Wylie towards Henderson. As you can see, there is barely enough room for me to get my small Prius through less than one car length from the crosswalk.
I know when staff comes out to check out this parking complaint this car will no longer be here. Today is Saturday, and I'm pretty sure your department doesn't check on tickets on the weekend. This is extremely dangerous! I almost hit this vehicle turning off Henderson on to Wylie. Because I know the rules of the road, I know if I had hit this parked vehicle, I would be my fault. That seems ridiculous. Apparently the people in this house do not know the rules of the road as there have been multiple complaints about this section of road in the past few weeks. This exact car was in the spot and reported last weekend. Could you please, please consider putting up signage that states "No parking allowed"? I ask this in the interest of the safety of all of us who live in this neighborhood and regularly take this turn onto Wylie. Thank you.
They are not allowing people to park on the street where it is free street parking. They are trying to force people to pay to park in their yard.

Adams Street intersection. * Preferred Placement: The north side of W. 11th St., adjacent to the apartment complex buildings. Request Details: I am writing to formally request the installation of a new street light along this specific stretch of W. 11th Street. Currently, this section of the road and sidewalk is pitch black during non-daylight hours. There is extremely poor visibility, making it highly unsafe for pedestrians. I walk this route early in the morning and am unable to see the sidewalk ahead of me or perceive if anyone is nearby, which creates a significant safety risk. Furthermore, the lack of lighting will pose an extra hazard during the winter months, as it will be impossible to spot black ice or snow accumulation on the walkway. Hi - there is a massively overgrown yard at this location and the weeds are blocking full access to the sidewalk. To make matters more challenging, the weeds have burrs on them that have hurt our dog. Thank you for your help!
On Wylie a bit west of Hawthorne (address is 830 Hawthorne. Several squares of sidewalk so badly cracked i caught my foot in one and almost tripped. SS4A should include walkable sidewalks or should I say sidewalks that pedestrians can use safely, including ones who have impaired mobility and/or vision. Thanks!
