Large pothole and missing curb section on eastern edge of Indiana Avenue in front of Dunn Meadow. Its large enough to be hazardous and we have received complaints about it potentially causing damage to vehicles. Thanks in advance!
On multiple Sundays (most recently 9/20/2026), we have seen two gentlemen directing traffic, and obstructing the public right of way, in two places. This occurs just outside of City Church for All Nations' Russell Road campus located at: 1200 N Russell Rd, Bloomington, IN 47408- most specifically two intersections on N Russell Lane and 10th Street. The trucks of these two men have 'Indiana Security' logos; one truck logo is highlighted on the attached photo. The photos also show the attire these gentlemen wear. In addition, we have seen someone directing traffic further down at 10th Street/Smith Road. This individual seems to be operating in a more official capacity. Iris from your Engineering Department was so helpful today, indicating that the roads of concern are under the jurisdiction of the Monroe County Highway Department. Will you please share our safety concerns internally and work with Monroe County? Are these folks following the proper rules and procedures for this important undertaking? As everyone's safety is affected, we want to do our part to make sure these men have the correct authority, with training and paperwork in order. Thank you for your time!
Since the boil order was lifted, my water has had a very strong odor when I run the tap, and it tastes unappealing.

Bins on street. Most of this street has this issue.
The owner doesn't reside on the property. Several large pine trees were removed. In that area weeds have grown. Some of them are 3-4 feet taller than my 6ft. fence and are encroaching on neighbors' properties. I have no way to contact owner Dennis Wichelns, but he uses Rusty's lawn Service who should be able to contact him.
The sidewalk is cracked on the east side of Eagleson just south of First. But worse than that some kind of street sign type upright was cut off and the stub sticks. A real hazard for pedestrians! Thanks.
The default street map is set for Jerusalem. I swiped it eventually to Bloomington's street map and filed a report but now i opened to report again after restarting my phone Defaulted back to Jerusalem. Weird.
The stoplight on W. 2nd St. turning left into Walmart, the left turn arrow will not switch to yellow. It is always red and the line is getting crazy backed up.
I've noticed a bad smell near the storm drain in front of my house (and in back on the alley). It smells somewhat like the odor added to natural gas, similar enough that my neighbor next door on the south asked me if that's what it is. I think not but it does smell like some sewer contents, although sanitary sewer contents shouldn't be mingling with storm sewer contents should they? Thanks!
