sidewalk on south side of 15th just west of woodburn (1015 N woodburn) is chronicly blocked with vegetation. if this is ever cleared off, please restore *full* width of sidewalk, because this has been growing on the sodewalk for a *long* time thanks!
On the northwest side of 2nd & Walker, the construction work has cut a massive opening in the multi-use path. The asphalt is gone across the entire width of the trail, and there is a probably 5-8 inch deep abyss that is very dangerous on a bike, and would certainly be challenging for anyone walking or in a wheelchair trying to get through there safely. Can this be addressed?

Walnut St. terminal platforms as an unmanaged, unsupervised triage, cooling, and heating center without any specialized oversight relying on passengers to keep the peace and make reports is actively disrupting public transit vehicle traffic. Large crowds, sprawling personal property, bed rolls, and temporary camping items are spilling directly off the designated bus bay benches and onto active boarding paths, pedestrian walkways, and loading lanes. This severe congestion introduces major physical obstructions, causing transit buses to delay docking, creating hazardous driver line-of-sight blind spots, and drastically slowing down passenger boarding flow during early morning and peak commute windows.Furthermore, this operational chaos results in constant, daily ambulance and emergency vehicle responses to the platforms. Due to the restricted lane space and structural congestion at this terminal, responding emergency vehicles routinely block active bus departures and transit traffic lanes. This persistent gridlock forces paying passengers to miss critical medical appointments and lose employment opportunities due to unpredictable, blocked transit vehicles.Compounding this vehicle hazard, the hostile platform environment has caused a severe collapse in off-peak passenger retention. Long-term, multi-year riders are abandoning Bloomington Transit because paying commuters trying to access their designated routes are treated as trespassers in an intimidating, territorial space. Surrendering active loading zones and emergency exits to non-transit use is an unsustainable municipal performance failure that violates Title 15 transit zone compliance. Clear the active bus bays, remove the obstructions from the loading platforms, and restore unobstructed lane access for public vehicles.
Transit benches and seating during off peak hours of operation when the building is closed and no staff or security is in sight in between bus arrivals and departures has led to blocked access to sidewalks and benches that correspond with the proper transfer to the city's hospitality and retail districts, but when contacting Transit, the lines were either closed or I was told to just contact 911. Contacting 911 when you're one of very few bus riders and most of the persons are invited to take up entire benches and sidewalks and alleys that are dark without any supervision or preventive action after previous reports and constant, daily calls from various individuals to emergency dispatch leaves me feeling that continuing to call 911 and sexual harassment being viewed as a civil matter is unsustainable for any one individual who's just trying to use the transit center for its intended purpose against multiple unknown daily rotating individuals and unknown issue to All City officials. My rational response is to report it as I fear that I will just keep being viewed as someone who is having a personal issue and reacting poorly to daily grooming and sexual harassment in what has become a legal grey area of daily surveillance of lone, predictable, public transit commuters, and especially women. Your hospitality staff is trained to be welcoming and not always reacts or response appropriately at 6:30 in the morning off the clock to unknown individuals in an unpredictable environment. This is a pressure cooker the city needs to pay close attention to instead of asking your Transit passengers who are dropping in numbers to act as individual issues between individuals. I don't want to have to go speak to a judge and take off work to use your sidewalks.
Regarding #213613 and some others that would be time consuming for me to find. - The city's approval of the 2024 high-density redevelopment on the 300 block of N. Jefferson Street has created a severe, entirely predictable neighborhood parking crisis that requires immediate action, not bureaucratic delay. By transitioning this corridor to RM zoning in 2021, the planning department allowed small single-family homes to be replaced by massive multi-room apartments, skyrocketing the local population from roughly 20 to over 80 residents. Because the rear parking lots are fundamentally inadequate for this density, the city is now dragging out on-street permit authorizations while claiming to "look at the issue." This gridlock is unacceptable. Rather than stalling, the city should immediately coordinate with Indiana University to absorb this student-driven overflow. We suggest requiring or incentivizing the residents of these new complexes to utilize IU parking permits for the nearby Eigenmann Hall parking lot, which sits just a block away, effectively shifting the vehicle burden off neighborhood streets and onto the campus infrastructure designed to handle it.

There is a growing hole near the end of the sidewalk if one turns off of Henderson and walks west on the north side of E. Southern drive. It started as one of the holes drilled by a utility contractor, but it is growing and dangerous for pedestrian traffic, bikes, etc
A broken tree branch is hanging in the way of the path. Also the tree and pylon are covered with mature poison ivy, which extends into the pathway.
