I witnessed a man getting sucker punched in front of blue bird nightclub shortly before 12;30am on June 22. Officer 67 arrived within a few minutes and placed handcuffs on the man who was sucker punched. I immediately told officer 67 that I saw the perpetrator walk down the alley, but officer 67 told me to get back and would not listen to me... while I was watching the perpetrator walk down the alley. Other witnesses were also telling officer 67 the perpetrator was getting away. Officer 67 acted emotionally in arresting the victim. It was wrong. I could identify the perpetrator. The trees/bushes/plants at this corner need to be trimmed in order for those turning from Weatherstone onto Woodlawn to do so safely. Currently, it is impossible to see around the greenery until one's car is out into the intersection. This will cause an accident. To avoid injury and property damage, please address this issue and place on a schedule to trim every month or so. Thanks.

Gigabit or AES or their contractors are installing fiber optic cable or something such as that. Will they be repairing all the grass from the holes and tracks from the heavy equipment?

Gigabit or Giga-something installed fiber optics in the neighborhood. The holes they dug in the grass were not repaired. After advising them of the situation they came out to "repair" the grass. The soil was filled with rocks and gravel. There were no grass seeds in the soil. I spent a whole day picking rocks and gravel out of the soil, buying top soil, and grassseed to fix this. The ground is no longer level and there's also rather gouges or chunks in sidewalks and curbs. The road had preexisting, but plugged pot holes near the Sare entrance, but now those potholes are open again and expanding.

There is a homeless camp developing in the woods on North Summit Street, between W 11th St and W Cottage Grove Ave. We live right next door on W Cottage Grove Ave. There are mountains of trash accumulating, used syringes on the ground, broken glass, yelling and screaming at all hours of the day and night, people loitering in the middle of the street so people can't get through, people changing in the street, broken glass, and numerous inoperable vehicles taking up the entire street that some are living in, in addition to the tents. I understand this may be private property, but given that we got a fine simply for our trash bin accidentally being outside an extra day, there has to be something that can be done. We will continue to report it and report it until it is handled effectively. I do not feel safe or comfortable going to and from my house or walking my dogs, and there are several children that live in this vicinity. The Boys and Girls Club and Middle School are right down the road. I know the homeless issue is rampant in Bloomington and there were two recent homeless campsite evictions. In the news, one of the homeless men interviewed said they were just going to move further down the B-Line. Well, here they are. This isn't safe or sanitary and is disturbing the peace of mind of the hardworking individuals who actually live here.

I've lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years, and the city put a hazard sign on the sidewalk months/years ago, but nothing else has been done to correct the problem, which can be quite dangerous at night

Alley on the north side of 112 W 6th Street, Bloomington IN: there is a guardrail installed, the base is utterly deteriorated, very loose to the touch, poses a danger to pedestrians and any vehicular traffic brave enough to use the ease and/or north alley. Needs to be repaired. Thank you.
