Driveway gravel covering sidewalk. I have rectified this before when the volume was much smaller. It seem to be a defect, although it may meet code. Neither residents, nor owners/management are cognizant of the issue, apparently. They still haven't rectified the reported and NOVed light trespass issue either.
Huge pothole in the middle of the intersection of North Morton and West 6th Street. Thank you!
There shoes on power line
During the construction of the new building on Kirkwood, the flow of traffic has been shifted. It is clearly marked on the road, but given that it is new, I think some kind of physical lane divider may be needed (like those posts that sometimes are put up to separate lanes of traffic). I drive through that area frequently, and it is clear that a number of drivers are caught by surprise/startled when they realize they are driving in what seems like head-on traffic to the other lane that has shifted. I am concerned that a minor accident is likely.
Utility pole in Park Ridge East Park next to Morningside Dr is cracking at the base and leaning slightly. Looks likely to fall soon.
Trash bins being stored in the median between the street and the 7-line. Not clear exactly which house they belong to.
These new apartments have trash strewn everywhere behind the buildings. I own the neighboring business and they are dumping their trash bags and furniture over our fence. We have cleaned it up twice now thinking it was a move out but this is crazy.
The city never cleared the snow from the bicycle lane after the January storm. As a direct consequence, the melting piles of snow left mounds of debris when they melted – similar to glacial till. Please clear the debris from the bicycle lanes on N. College Avenue and N. Walnut Street, which has been there for nearly 3 weeks now.
