New crop of Japanese Knotweed in area that was cleared by the Rogers. St crossing on the Bloomington Rail Trail
Last year I had sent in a complaint about storm water running down Olive Street into the joint driveway of 1502 & 1504 S. Olive St. and 1144 E Hillside Dr. An asphalt curb was installed in the Fall of 2025, but they did not install to the top of the hill at Olive St. The water from rain can still run into the joint driveways of 1502 & 1504. Can this be fixed to where the curb will start at the top of Olive and run all the way down to Hillside or to where the other curb starts.
During the Winter there was a new water meter installed in the front yard. The workers made the ground very rough and did not smooth it out. There needs to be grass seed planted from where they dug up the yard. If someone could please take care of regrading the dirt and planting grass seed, it would be much appreciate.
Abandoned Grey Honda Civic Hybrid plate number 547T0 with expired plates since 2-14 of 26. Has been sitting for a week or more. Right now it is taking up space on a dead end road where I usually park near my side yard. So the car is actually taking the spot I have been parking for 5 years by my side yard. We have limited space on this road. I live at 807 W Dodds St Bloomington indiana 47403.
Portion of wooden sidewalk on north side of 2nd Street, just east of Rose Avenue, has collapsed. Attached photo is looking west.
There are white company/utility trucks that have been parked here for MONTHS without being moved, which is against the 72 hour rule. They do not belong to anyone nearby, no idea where they came from but someone left them here and hasn't moved them. Please issue a ticket for the 72 hour rule.
Beaten up plastic chair and metal table frame at the edge of the front yard. Have been there for over a week now.
Project school pickup traffic is out of control. Vehicles picking up students are supposed to proceed eastbound on 2nd street, then north on Lincoln. Not only do people end up lining up far too early, causing a logjam, but many vehicles are approaching from the east, causing the eastbound traffic to take even longer to be able to turn onto Lincoln. Consequently, nearly every day there is a near-miss with other vehicles (who are just trying to go east/west along 2nd street) end up going around waiting TPS parents. This is an extremely dangerous and untenable situation. Check out that intersection between 3:35 and 3:45 on any given schoolday.
