Recurring flooding is affecting yards and driveways in our neighborhood, with water reaching depths up to a few feet during heavy rain events. This occurs several times per year and has resulted in property damage, including several vehicles in the neighborhood. Two culverts carry water beneath the roadway at this location. Based on observed conditions, the culverts appear to be insufficient to handle stormwater during frequent events, creating a backwater effect that causes water to pond in residential areas upstream. Previous inquiries have indicated this may be attributed to the area’s flood zone designation. However, the frequency and severity of flooding suggest this exceeds typical floodplain conditions and may indicate inadequate drainage capacity. Requesting a formal evaluation of the culvert system and overall drainage, including assessment of capacity and consideration of potential improvements.

Does the City have a policy about using tennis courts for pickleball? If not, perhaps you should. I happened to walk past Bryan Park tennis courts this past Saturday. Pickleball players were using one court or maybe two. There was at least one vacant court if any tennis players needed it. I can imagine disputes coming up, which Parks Department would do well to get ahead of. Tennis only. OR Tennis and Pickleball

There is a row of storage units immediately to the south of my apartment at Brandon Ct. There is a space between the units and a fence that is supposed to be maintained by Henderson Court. As you can see by the photo (I can provide more), it appears that unhoused people use it as a place to sleep. The area is strewn with trash, and mattress/foundation, and I would suspect that drug activity is or has occurred in the space. Furthermore, several packages have been stolen off of my stoop by occupants of this space. Clearly, this poses a health and safety hazard. I ask that the City investigate the area and assess fines and other sanctions against Granite, the listed property owners or managers. In addition to clean up and possible environmental remediation, I want the area secured in such a fashion that in the future no unhoused people can reoccupy the space. The Department may also need to contact Henderson Court for erection of a fence that denies access for the length of the fence that serves as the property line between Henderson Court and Brandon Court. The address I entered (1621 S Dorchester) is one in a series of condos that I mean to report for overgrowth (I believe they're managed by an HOA). I manage a property at 1803 E Thornton Dr. There is a ton of overgrowth coming from those condos on Dorchester that have grown over and through our back fence. I would like the HOA, or whoever is responsible, to clean it all out. Thank you for your help!

Neighbors both front and back yard are excessively grown and riddled with weeds, attracting rats and other vermin. It’s unsightly and causing weeds to spread into neighboring yards. I’ve reached out before and nothing has been done yet.

Vehicles driving east on Grimes often stop in the middle of the road (rather than in their "lane") at the stop sign at Woodlawn. This makes it impossible to turn onto Grimes from Woodlawn until they have moved on, leading to difficult and unpredictable traffic situations. Would it be possible to put a center line here on Grimes, just for the intersection and the approach to it? To encourage drivers on Grimes to be in their lane when they stop at the intersection.
