Vegetation growing through and above the chain-link fence along the Woodlawn sidewalk is overgrown. Side is obstructed both from the side and from above for safe and full passage. Many people stepping into street as a result

The intersection at Covenanter Drive and College Mall Road has a lot of gravel on it right now, mainly from what I saw on the east side of the intersection, in the lane of travel and crosswalk on Covenanter east of the lanes of College Mall. This spot is covered in sand and gravel after most rain storms it seems. I report this as a hazard for cyclists frequently. It also creates a hazard for vehicles not getting traction. The first issue is this needs cleaned up now, but the bigger issue is looking into the root cause and maybe there is a way to divert some water flow or clean up some gravel pit nearby to prevent this from being an ongoing issue? Debris (mostly sand and gravel) in bike lane on S. Lincoln. Worst spots are at intersection with Smith, with alley between Grand & Lincoln just south of Smith, and just south of Lincoln intersection with Second St. This problem occurs after each heavy rain.

t I am writing to report a severe public nuisance and hazardous property condition at 1711 S Highland Ave . Following last week's storm, a large tree on the owner's property fell down. The resulting debris—including the massive tree trunk and multiple large branches—has been left piled up directly by my yard line. This accumulation is attracting pests, rodents, and snakes into my yard, interfering with the safe enjoyment of my property. Furthermore, the neighboring yard is completely overgrown with large clusters of Poison Hemlock (Conium maculatum). This is a highly toxic, prohibited invasive species that poses a severe chemical burn and ingestion risk to humans and domestic animals. The plants are well over the city's 8-inch growth limit and are spreading toward my property line. I attempted to address these safety hazards with the property owner directly, but she refused to cooperate or permit further contact. Because of the immediate health and safety hazards posed by both the structural storm debris and the toxic vegetation, I request an inspection from the HAND Department to issue a Notice of Violation and enforce removal.
