There are two billboards on this parcel N of our neighborhood entrance on N Walnut St to the W beyond the chiropractor’s office. It appears this parcel was once owned by Hoosier Outdoor Advertising so, I’m presuming that once Steve Ferguson obtained it and Parks and Rec is now the owner that both of these billboards can be taken out and until that might happen at least the one with the lights can have those deactived along with any service. It would be perfect if this area would then be able to gain native trees to add our Tree City USA canopy and Haskell Smith would be able to increase our diversity with new trees followed by native shrubs et al that will be most welcomed over any likely invasive bush honeysuckle et al along this main coordinator into our City and from the N into Cascades Park along the E side of Old State Rd 37 or Dixie Hwy. Thank you for letting me know if I can provide any additional information that might permit this prime cooridor becoming most appreciated and greatly improved with native trees and plants stepping up our Greenspace cooridors W and E along N Walnut Street. Mike Frey - 317-727-3371 Mike is the owner of Bub's on the corner of 9th Street and N. Morton. The last parking spot on 9th street before you hit Morton has been turned in to a handicap space. According to Mike this space is on a hefty incline that was once riddles with pot holes. He stated that it is smooth, but that it is not an accessible space by any means being on a hill. He would like someone to reach out to him. Thank you!

Every time it rains our street floods severely and then backs up onto the sidewalks and coats them in a thick layer of mud. It’s a combination of heavy storms that the storm drain on the corner of 12th and Walnut cannot keep up with and a residual problem caused by the fiberware that was installed last year. Ever since they dug up the corner of 12th and Walnut the ground is nothing but mud and has been slowly taking over the sidewalk. It is unsafe to walk on as it is incredibly slippery and is at least an inch thick.

Neighbors both front and back yard are excessively grown and riddled with weeds, attracting rats and other vermin. It’s unsightly and causing weeds to spread into neighboring yards. I’ve reached out before and nothing has been done yet.

I had sent in a request on 5/19/25 Case #202787 reporting that Olive Street needs a concrete curb installed. Due to the excessive rainfall this has caused flooding issues for 1502 S. Olive and the house on the corner of Hillside and Olive (1144 E. Hillside Dr.). I was informed that this was on the paving list and there was plans for an asphalt curb. I called on 6/9/25 and spoke to the Engineering dept. (Iris) about installing a concrete curb instead of asphalt. There is already a partial concrete curb that runs past 1502. It needs to have a concrete curb all the way up the hill so that rain will not flood into the driveway and along the house of 1502, plus it runs past the curb into the yard of 1144 E. Hillside causing flooding in the basement. They have a sump pump now, but it's old and could quit at any time. It's already August and there hasn't been any kind of activity on this street. Do you have an estimated date as to when the street will be paved and the curb installed? Also, there is a construction sign in the yard of 1144 E. Hillside that has been there all summer and would like it to be moved. Thank you for any information you can provide!

The address I entered (1621 S Dorchester) is one in a series of condos that I mean to report for overgrowth (I believe they're managed by an HOA). I manage a property at 1803 E Thornton Dr. There is a ton of overgrowth coming from those condos on Dorchester that have grown over and through our back fence. I would like the HOA, or whoever is responsible, to clean it all out. Thank you for your help!

Ticket #205013 was closed by Barry stating "it is way outside the city limits" which is incorrect. This property is indeed in Bloomington: 1645 S Olive St Bloomington, IN 47401. The issue: overgrown yard and vegetation piles are a hazard and promoting mosquito and tick habitat.

There is a construction cut in the road on 17th that is really deep to go over. There weren’t any signs warning of a big bump. The car behind me severely swerved out of the way to miss it. This is move in week, this is a dangerous situation!
