Each time it rains, this low spot under the bridge fills with water making it difficult for cars to pass. Is there something that can be done to improve the drainage here?

They have limbs and overgrowth hanging on our property line when my brother was mowing our yard got smacked in the face and got a mark on his face from this we've asked the neighbors to resolve this with refusal
The property adjacent to me 922 North orris has a huge tree, that I have tried to get them to maintain for nearly 5 years. A week ago a woman that was at the property said there was a new property manager and she would have him call me. No reply. I am disabled and can no longer continue to trim this tree off of the adjoining sidewalk. The sidewalk goes over to the try North swimming pool. It runs between our properties. This tree is so overgrown it's branches get on my roof onto my property all the way down to the ground covering the sidewalk. If we did not constantly trim this you wouldn't be able to walk down the sidewalk to get to the pool or the school. I am so tired of trying to resolve this, I've told the people that cut the grass every week nearly for two years and nobody's done a damn thing. I'm hoping you can help and find out who needs to trim this back. I believe it's rented to disabled guy who's pretty much a recluse. Thank you

220 W 14th St. This is a repeat of #212155. I need you to understand the methodology behind this photograph. I held my phone pointing directly ahead of me, with both of my feet squarely on the sidewalk (at the edge of the sidewalk). My phone was directly in front of my face. The branch directly in the center of the photo is exactly where my eyes would be if i had continued to walk forwards. Practically, this is a genuine problem because I really do walk along the edge of the sidewalk so that i can walk 2- or 3-abreast with my family. It's a safety problem because if I do not see the branch then it will hit my eye, as has already happened at this location! It's an inconvenience because it is a point where the sidewalk narrows from 5ft to effectively 4ft. Pedestrians are forced to reconfigure their groups at these narrowings. It costs us time and energy and makes conversing difficult. I'm not sure what enforcement authority you're acting under but it's a legal problem as well, for example BMC 12.24.040 requires a clear distance of 8ft above sidewalks. FWIW, I'm asking for 6ft. The transportation plan also weighs in on this, Table 5 Pedestrian Zone Design Parameters "Clear space for all pedestrian travel, should be clear of any and all fixed obstacles." I didn't think it was necessary to be so explicit but they were -- "any and all" definitely includes branches that extend 6 inches into your eye sockets. The specific undesirability of having fixed obstacles extending over the sidewalk exactly at eye height *for any distance* has been explicitly acknowledged and i can't believe i'm trying to point this out today. Anyways i really do appreciate that this has seen already more enforcement action than the whole city put together before about 2022 but if this is what compliance looks like then we have a problem.

During farmers market weekends, the B Line trail often gets blocked by people forming a line across the trail (red line drawn on photo), instead of sticking along parallel to direction of travel on the trail to the side (pink line drawn on photo). I would like to ask if the city could work with Le Petit Cafe to create a barrier with signage, perhaps out of traffic cones (white dots drawn on photo), on the weekends in order to facilitate a line forming in a way that keeps the B Line trail accessible.
Subject: Notice and constructive feedback regarding trash collection at the stated address I am writing to report a recent sanitation issue and to constructively suggest a structural change to prevent future occurrences. On 6/17/2026, responsible parties at the stated address did not follow collection guidelines and piled extra bags on top of their full bins. During pickup, the collection crew left one of these excess bags on the ground. Because the bag remained on the curb overnight, local wildlife tore it open. This scattered rotting food waste is now creating a possible health hazard and a severe mess for the neighborhood. Additionally, bins on the street remain at the curb more than 24 hours after collection. To ensure our neighborhood stays clean and safe, I would like to suggest two updates to current practices: * Enforce a strict "Tag and Leave" policy: Instead of leaving a loose bag on the ground where animals can access it, crews could leave the bag inside the bin with an educational warning tag. * Issue reminders for bin removal: Send a neighborhood-wide notice regarding the local ordinance that requires bins to be stored away within 24 hours of collection. *Have a means to take the extra bags and charge extra for the service. Overgrown plants and a lot of sticks yard waste on the ground, making sidewalk narrow and not accessible. I don't know if this is city property or residential since it's so close to the bridge.
