I have added ebikes due to the increased use of them on the Bloomington Rail Trail and the increased size and speed of these vehicles. Hi, It seems there maybe miscommunication within the chain of command or not a 100% buy-in to "best practice" or a little of both. Report #181846 described a problem and its location. Unfortunately the problem has not been addressed in any way. However, it does look as though some one came through with a leaf blower and cleared the cypress leaves that had covered the trail further up towards Southeast park, next to tennis court entrance and wood post. I do very much appreciate that as the the pavement is very bumpy there in the corner and can cause loss of control of bike or scooter as well as trip walkers. I don't have construction experience but have used a shovel in the yard and that is probably all it would take. Just a shovel and one person to remove some soil blocking the current grade from working properly. If that isn't the solution how about adding a thin layer of pavement so runoff goes the other direction. I believe this was done on Renwick trail, there are patches of pavement here and there. Thanks for your help with this.

On September 20, 2022, I was riding my bicycle on the 10th street trail near the eastside Post Office. I saw a man on a scooter coming toward me, in the middle of the trail, riding very fast. I maneuvered to avoid him and crashed my bike, rolling onto the pavement and grass. I was hoping my hurt ankle was only a sprain, but I could not walk on it. The next day, I went to a walk-in orthopedic clinic and learned my foot was broken in 4 places. I am still recovering. Please include this instance in any records the City keeps about scooters. Although a ban on scooters is unlikely, some limits on speed and place may help reduce incidences like mine. Thank you.

The sidewalk on moores here is sloped dangerously towards a steep drop into a creek. It's not safe for wheelchair/mobility scooter/crutch users

I was walking on the sidewalk near 4th and walnut and 5 scooter riders rode by me and one ran me over! I thought there were supposed to be restrictions on where scooters could be ridden and parked. I frequently see them parked in handicapped ramps. They are polluting our city and making it less accessible.
