Mrs. Stone says she spoke to someone yesterday who was supposed to call her back but she doesn't know who it was. Says when City put in sidewalks a few years ago it caused changes in drainage and now everything (water, gravel, tar) washes up at the end of her property. She's "going to call the Mayor" if nothing gets done, so someone needs to at least touch base with her.
Mrs. Taylor stated that the rain water drains across the road and floods the properties around 700-716 E hillside. The problem started after road work was finished.

While riding my bike on Weimer Rd.; I've noticed on two different occasions the strong smell of sewer gas. A Sewer gas smell to me means either there is effluent top side or there is an over flow into waterway. (Or I suppose something else) but there a definite issue. Exact location is post bridge on Weimer's south end heading toward Tapp Rd. It is also just past the mid point of bridge to Tapp Rd. points. Yes, I know there has been a lot of rain that contributes to these kind of issues, but being that the creek eventually "dumps" into Monroe Reservoir ( our drinking water) Thank you for looking into this. Friday and Monday I came home to a house full of nasty sewer gasses. My toilet and bathtub trap had been sucked dry of water. I've spoken to my neighbors and it's happening all up the street. My address is 903 W. GOurley Pike. (Your location map is confused.) I have a sickly cat at home and I am seriously concerned that if this continues he may die.
