Our water is cloudy today. In fact, it has been cloudy many, many days this past month or longer. Two neighbors in this block are doing remodeling projects, so we thought it might be related and did not report. As they both move through various phases of construction, we have come to feel doubtful that the poor water quality must be unrelated.

For the past week, our tap water has a bad odor and it tastes bad. It has a moldy smell and taste. It’s hard to even brush your teeth with it. Our neighborhood has had a lot of utility work done over the past month or two. There’s been a lot of digging for cables throughout the neighborhood. Could this have inadvertently hit a water line?? We have noticed in the past week that there is an issue with the drinking water… we even changed our fridge filter because we thought it might be the issue. We don’t notice right from the tap, but when left for a long period of time or overnight, the water is undrinkable, tastes bitter and tastes and smells strongly like chlorine or a chlorine compound is in the water. We can’t find information anywhere about what has changed. We are considering getting bottled until then for consumption.

Our water has been yellow on several occasions and is now coming out of the faucet orange. We are unable to use this water for bathing, drinking, cooking, or laundry and we would like the issue to be addressed as soon as possible. We need to have clean, usable water in our home.
