WATER DRAINAGE IS COMMING TOWARD THEIR PROPERTY
WATER DRAINAGE IS COMMING TOWARD THEIR PROPERTY
STORM DRAIN MUST BE STOPPED UP JUST S OF HILLSIDE ON HIGH STREET, HAS A HIGH WATER SIGN PUT UP
The drainage pipe that goes under Monon Dr. at W. Hillside is almost completely stopped up with sand. Also the open drainage ditch which would carry storm water back to Clear Creek is over grown and also filled in with sand. See attached map.
Would like to meet with you to look at this area in regards to any possible plans regarding the Storm water project.
Storm drain has been cut due to CBU installing a water main in front of his home.
WANT DEBRIS CLEANED OUT OF STORM DRAIN UNDER GRATING AND WANT APSHALT ADDED TO BUMP TO KEEP WATER FROM FLOODING YARD
THERE ARE NO SIDEWALKS IN THIS AREA. THE WATER RUNS DOWN PARK AVENUE, ACROSS ACEVODO'S DRIVEWAY, INTO HER YARD AND ENDS UP UNDER HER HOUSE. HER HOUSE IN ON PARTIAL CRAWLSPACE, PARTIAL BASEMENT. SHE WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO COME OUT AND LOOK AT THE AREA.
When it rains the water runs between the houses of 1249 and 1251 E. Miller Dr. The complaintant says that she assumes that there is water running under the foundation of her house. The water also runs about 2 feet from her house in some places.
There is standing water in the front yards of both 1249 & 1251 E. Miller Drive. There is a small stream that now runs between 1249 & 1251. She is afraid that with all this standing water, that the crawlspaces will be flooded, if they already aren't. This subdivision is called Highland Gardens and has had problems in the past with drainage.
MR. CARRICO HAS A HOUSE AT 1231 S FESS, THE CORNER OF FESS & BRENDA AVENUE. FESS AVENUE HAD WORK DONE AND THE STREET NOW SLOPES IN SUCH A WAY THAT ALL THE WATER DRAINS INTO THE BASEMENT AT 1231. THE STORM DRAIN IS ON THE HIGH SIDE OF THE STREET. MR. CARRICO HAS INSTALLED A RETAINING WALL AND WAS GOING TO BACK DIRT UP TO THE WALL, BUT THE CONTRACTOR STATED THAT THIS WOULD NOT PREVENT THE WATER FROM GOING INTO THE BASEMENT.
