THIS COMPLAINT WAS MADE TO JACK DAVIS, PARKING ENFORCEMENT. SPIELVOGEL RECEIVED A PARKING TICKET. HE STATED THAT WATER POOLS ON N. JEFFERSON STREET BETWEEN 5TH & 7TH STREETS, NOT ENABLING HIM TO HAVE A PLACE TO PARK, THEREFORE, CAUSING HIM TO HAVE TO PARK ILLEGALLY AND RECEIVING A TICKET. THE CITY SHOULD LOOK INTO WHAT IS CAUSING THE WATER TO POOL.
Water tastes like plastic.
I just received a call from Louisa Purcell who lives on Kirkwood Ave. She was very distraught because she saw someone in a white city truck watering "little" trees on Kirkwood. She feels that we should be conserving water because if we don't in these dry conditions we will have a water emergency! She just wanted to pass along that complaint!
Anonymous complaint from a woman who lives on S. Wilton in Green Briar Hills. She said drainage from Arden Place runs through their neighborhood and right now, there is a lot of water, leaves and trash along the street. She would like someone to come out and pick up the leaves in the next few days.
A water fountain in Bryan Park next to the tennis courts is malfunctioning; it has been running continuously for the past few days.
At the intersection of Hickory & Belle there is a large amount of water in the street.
At the intersection of Winston & Sare Road, there is a large amount of water running out of big culvert.
Alison Donway (812-822-1599)requested that the south side of the intersection of Highland and 2nd St be swept. It holds water and dirt, sand, and debris piles up in this area.
Citizen (Mark Land) apparently contacted Utilities before but was not satisfied with the response-- he missed a water payment because he was on vacation and is upset that the situation cannot immediately be fixed. He already paid the past due balance, but water was shut off. He was told it could be turned back on by 6 or by tomorrow, and he just wants it on sooner rather than later. Call (812) 272-1500. At 7th & Madison, a manhole lid has water gushing out of it.
