Two vehicles on Zona Ct. have been sitting for quite some time. One vehicle is missing a license plate and tree debris has found itself tucking in around the front of the vehicle. The other vehicle has a flat tire and hasn't been moved in several months.
This is a recurring issue from last year. Commercial equipment being parked in our Sycamore Knolls subdivision for over 3 months! Don’t know if it’s in need of repair, but they’ve had plenty of time if it does. Also, Sycamore Knolls subdivision has Convenants prohibiting the parking of such vehicles in the neighborhood. Can the proper authority/department please address this issue at the intersection of Arden and Sycamore Court. Thank you for your time.
We visited Bloomington on Wed., June 12, and put 4 quarters in the parking meter Zone 7690 meter GRAS206B and got no minutes. Not very happy about that and will make our next visit to Bloomington a long time coming.
Abandoned car left in front of reposed house sold at auction on July 19. The previous resident left this car in front of 2419 E Oakmont Dr 47401 when he finally left the home. It has not moved since before the house sold and neighbors are tired of seeing it sit on the street. Former resident was step-son of former owner, Rod Figg. Car owner has last name of Hough or something similar. Aren’t there city regs that disallow disabled vehicles from remaining indefinitely on premises? The car’s owner no longer even lives here.
I’m writing following up on case numbers 168560 and 168559. The answer to your question is no. I paid for 30 minutes but was credited for 15 minutes. I left before the 15 minutes expired. It was not worth the risk of a ticket. Would the city forgive a ticket if I told them I paid for the time but wasn’t credited for it or would they say sorry for your bad luck? There needs to be a number to call for people to report these issues immediately when they happen and have the time added remotely without having to go through all of this. David Willian
I love at 2645 at a dead end road. My neighbor to the right has multiple vehicles when there guest come they park in front in my card!!! They park on the other side of the street right in front of my drive way to the point when I leave I can’t just back out. I asked the neighbors not to and still they keep doing it
Hello, I currently have a parking permit through my job at the Garage on 7th Street and Walnut. I've noticed that the garage hasn't been charging users for about 2 months now. I am wondering when you are going to install the gates at the exit and start charing people again? It is a bit frustrating to pay for a permit and have to park on the roof when you know many are parking for free there. From a financial perspective I may not renew my permit if I can just park there for free. I saw an article in the HT this morning about changes to parking enforcement but the garage on 7th and Walnut was not mentioned in it. When will you start charging to park at the garage on 7th Street and walnut again? Will there be change in parking regulations at the garage? Thank you for your time and information. -Amber Mestre
