Dilapidated house, looks like it is going to cave in on itself. Homeless people living in the house, needles on the property, wild bamboo growing on the property in addition to other excessive overgrowth. Needs to be checked out and taken care of immediately.

Robin's daughter visits her father in the third unit at 1310 N. Maple. He rents this unit from his parents. Robin reports that much electrical work and plumbing work was done at the house without the proper permits and that the work was not done properly. A wood stove was also installed without the proper "venting". (I checked this address on the rental system and it shows that there are only 2 approved rental units. This home looks abandoned. There is garbage everywhere on the outside of the home. Also, during the past few nights there has been a pick up parked in the backyard which starts up periodically throughout the night and is very loud. A fire was continuously going as well.

REPORTS THAT HE RAN CHILDREN AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY YESTERDAY. THE PLACE IS GUTTED WITH NO FRONT DOOR, ONLY CAUTION TAPE. THERE ARE HOLES IN THE FLOOR, AN OPEN ELECTRICAL BOX AND NUMEROUS OTHER PROBLEMS. PLEASE INVESTIGATE RIGHT AWAY..HE WILL BE GONE FOR 2 DAYS AND IS GREATLY CONCERNED THE KIDS WILL COME BACK AND GET HURT.

I believe I have foundation issues that are damaging my apartment (that the maintenance people simply patched over without my knowledge, entering my apartment without my knowledge), a faulty heater, and mold in my vents and possibly air ducts that the BHA has all overlooked over the past year I’ve lived here. The mold has made me sick, i have to restart the heater in the middle of the night in the fall and winter when I wake up and realize it’s 50 degrees in my apartment, and the walls are celebrating from the 2nd story ceiling, the ground floor tiling, and the top of the staircase is starting to warp. I am disabled and have a toddler and they haven’t taken me seriously over here issues. I don’t feel safe in my own home and I have nowhere else to go. Tenant called to say no action has been taken. Additional issues include foundation problems, heater not working properly and extensive mold issues. Complaint inspect. sch. 11/15/21 (MON) @ 1:30 w/JH. Mgmt. notified.

Occupants have been erecting numerous structures made of pallets, wood, and tarps throughout their property for several weeks. The backyard seems completely full of these shanties. Their "construction" continues throughout much of the evening many days of the week, often extending to 10:00pm or later. The banging and power tool noise is a nuisance and the many structures they are creating seem very unsafe, especially for the children that are seen/heard playing there.
