Resource Referrals
Latino Outreach Staff spend much of their time doing resource referrals. We treat all calls, emails and walk-ins with the utmost care. Our primary goal is to connect Spanish and English speaking clients to existing resources within the local community in the areas of healthcare, legal assistance, educational opportunities, seasonal tax help, and translation services.
Healthcare Coverage
Bilingual staff are trained to enroll Limited English Proficient individuals and their children in the Hoosier Healthwise Children's Health Coverage Program. Our office is an enrollment center only. The department also provides information on the Healthy Indiana Plan - Health Insurance for Adults and other medical services throughout Monroe County.
