Bloomington, IN -- Mayor Mark Kruzan and Monroe County Commission President Patrick Stoffers have announced that all non-emergency City and County services will be closed Wednesday Feb 2.

While City roads are in good shape because of the extraordinary efforts of our crews, the area remains under a Winter Storm Warning with 40 mph wind gusts. More than 8,000 homes were without power at 5:30a. There is still risk of tree limbs, entire trees, and power lines falling with additional power outages possible.

County Emergency Management has decided to leave the Travel Watch in effect. Only essential travel is recommended.
