Commission on the Status of Children and Youth Releases Community Survey

BLOOMINGTON, IN
- The City of Bloomington Commission on the Status of Children and Youth has developed a community survey about the specific needs of local youth in the community.

The newly created Commission will work to promote connections in our community which empower, enhance and nurture children and youth. The Commission's first task is to assess how children and youth are fairing in the community and responses to the survey will help guide the focus of the Commission's activities.

The survey can be found at the following link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CSCY or on the Commission's web page, http://bloomington.in.gov/cscy.

The survey comprises two parts: Part one contains five questions that can be answered with brief comments and suggestions. Part two is a check list that asks respondents to select one response based on how strongly the feel the issue affects youth in the community.

The Commission on the Status of Children and Youth holds meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Hooker Conference Room, Suite 245, at City Hall, 401 N. Morton St. For more information contact Kathy Mayer, Commission on the Status of Children and Youth Liaison, at 349.3467 or mayerk@bloomington.in.gov.
