City seeks applicants for 2013 Citizens Academy

Bloomington, Ind. - The City of Bloomington Department of Housing and Neighborhood Development (HAND) wants to remind community members that applications are available for its 2013 Citizens' Academy program. Citizens' Academy provides participants with an interactive learning experience that focuses on municipal government services, programs and responsibilities.

The 2013 Citizens' Academy will meet weekly from Aug. 15 through Oct. 10. The deadline for applications is July 15, and interested parties can apply online at [www.bloomington.in.gov/neighborhoods|www.bloomington.in.gov/neighborhoods]. Class size is capped at 30 to ensure a quality experience for participants.
