Workshop to Gather Public Input for ImagineBloomington

Bloomington, Ind. - The City of Bloomington Planning Department will hold another workshop to continue gathering public input to develop community goals for ImagineBloomington, which is the City's ongoing effort to update the Growth Policies Plan. The workshop will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 12th, at the Monroe County Public Library, 303 E. Kirkwood Ave., in room 1C.

Workshop participants will be able to offer suggestions, provide feedback and vote on their preferred ImagineBloomington goals. The last of three scheduled opportunities, this workshop is aimed towards vetting proposed goals. This workshop will specifically focus on draft goals concerning the topics of Economic & Sustainable Development, Government Services and Transportation. The ImagineBloomington process is anticipated to continue through 2015.

Besides attending the workshop, citizens can monitor ImagineBloomington developments at any time through the project website and social media.
