Movie at Bryan Park Celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month

In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the City of Bloomington’s Latino Outreach Program invites the community to a to a special screening of the animated movie “The Book of Life” on Friday, October 6, at 7:00 p.m. near the basketball courts at Bryan Park.

“The Book of Life” chronicles the journey of Manolo, a young man who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart. Before choosing which path to follow, he embarks on an incredible adventure that spans three fantastical worlds where he must face his greatest fears. “The Book of Life” encourages us to celebrate the past while looking forward to the future.

Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Bryan Park is located at 1001 S. Henderson St.
