City of Bloomington Utilities Announces Upcoming Road Closure

Beginning Monday, March 5 through Monday, March 26, City of Bloomington Utilities will be closing Country Club Drive between South Rogers Street and South Walnut Street for the installation of a sewer interceptor across Country Club Drive.

This project is being completed in advance of the reconstruction of the Country Club Bridge #73, which will begin immediately after the sewer line installation is complete. Contractors for both the sewer interceptor installation and the bridge reconstruction project were hopeful that both projects could take place simultaneously. After reviewing all project details it was determined that this was not feasible.
