ITS Director Rick Dietz to Host at Farmers’ Market Saturday

Bloomington, In. - Information and Technology Services Director Rick Dietz invites residents and visitors to drop by the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market Saturday, April 21 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. while he hosts “Mayor at the Market” in front of City Hall, 401 N. Morton St. It's an opportunity to inquire about current IT issues and future initiatives in the City of Bloomington. Dietz can answer questions about the city website, the fiber initiative, digital services, and the city's interactive web tools, including uReport and inRoads, among other topics. Residents are also invited to share their stories related to information technology in Bloomington for a bicentennial project.

The weekly "Mayor at the Market" series gives community members the opportunity to get acquainted with their mayor and other members of their city government and to share ideas and concerns about the city in an informal setting.
