Video Update: Thanksgiving Message

In this week’s video update Mayor Hamilton offers a Thanksgiving message to residents and provides an update on a few upcoming events and free parking details.

 

Mayor John Hamilton will dedicate Showers Plaza as the Fernandez Plaza on Saturday, November 26, at 10 a.m. during the annual Holiday Market (https://bton.in/AhbXs). Residents are invited to join on the plaza outside City Hall to honor former Mayor John Fernandez.

 

The City of Bloomington will offer free parking on the street downtown and in City garages from Thursday, November 24 through Sunday, November 27, recognizing the Thanksgiving holiday and Small Business Saturday, a day to celebrate Bloomington’s small businesses and their contribution to our community. City Hall will be closed this Thursday, November 24, 2022, and Friday, November 25, 2022, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Sanitation routes for Thursday, November 24, will be picked up on Friday, November 25.
