Connect with City Leaders at District 3 Traveling Town Hall, June 2

Mayor Kerry Thomson invites residents to Traveling Town Hall on Monday, June 2, at University Elementary, 1111 N. Russell Rd. The event will run from 6 to 7 p.m. and will also feature Jane Kupersmith, Director of Economic and Sustainable Development and Councilmember Hopi Stosberg.

Town Halls allow residents to connect directly with local leaders, ask questions, and learn more about city initiatives. The event will begin with a brief update from Mayor Thomson on current and upcoming projects. Following the update, attendees can submit questions on index cards distributed at the door, which the Mayor, Kupersmith, and Councilmember Stosberg will address. If time permits, the evening will conclude with a live Q&A session for additional questions.

Traveling Town Halls are part of the City’s ongoing effort to ensure accessible government and foster open communication between residents and officials. Hosted in a different district every other month, these events provide community members the chance to learn about city services, ask questions, and share feedback on topics that matter to them.

Residents of District 3 and any community members with feedback, questions, or interest in how city services are delivered are encouraged to attend. The event offers an opportunity to engage directly with City leadership and learn more about ongoing initiatives and operations.

The meeting will be broadcast live on Community Access Television Services (CATS) and available for on-demand viewing at catstv.net
