City Seeks Applicants to Serve on Environmental Resources Advisory Council

Bloomington, Ind. - The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is seeking two people to serve two-year terms on the Environmental Resources Advisory Council (ERAC).

Applications may be submitted directly to the Parks and Recreation Department, 401 N. Morton St., Suite 250 inside City Hall, or via email to tompkine@bloomington.in.gov. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.

The ERAC acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Park Commissioners in policy matters pertaining to the operation of city-managed natural areas or facilities. ERAC members also cooperate with other civic groups and governmental agencies in the protection of environmental resources within the Bloomington community.

The ERAC is comprised of five regular voting members and four special voting members.

ERAC meetings are held the second Wednesdays of even-numbered months at 4:30 p.m.
