The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals from interested local businesses, organizations and individuals to manage all aspects of a Prepared/Processed Food and Beverage Vending (PFV) and/or Food Truck or Push Cart Vending (FTV) stall at the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings during the 2019 Market season.

Most PFVs are located on the Farmers' Market Plaza on the B-Line Trail. Most FTVs are located on Eighth Street west of the B-Line Trail.

To select the PFV/FTV who will best serve the Market, the City uses a request for proposal (RFP) process. Proposals will be evaluated by a review committee that includes Market staff and Farmers’ Market Advisory Council members using the criteria established in the RFP including menu, price, product balance, customer satisfaction, use of local products and location of business (with preference given to businesses located in Bloomington).

The RFPs and sample agreements can be accessed using the links below, or by contacting Farmers' Market Coordinator Marcia Veldman at for a hard copy.

All proposals must be submitted on the PFV and/or FTV proposal form. The submission deadline is Tuesday, January 29, 2019 by 5 p.m. No late proposals will be accepted.
