The Born Learning Play Path on the Clear Creek Trail captures 10 fun, outdoor games on engaging signs to create learning opportunities for young children. The path is part of the Born Learning campaign designed to help parents, caregivers and communities support early learning.

Bloomington Parks and Recreation, Monroe Smart Start, and United Way of Monroe County partnered to bring Born Learning to the Clear Creek Trail!

The Born Learning Play Path is located on the Clear Creek Trail just past the footbridge south of the That Road trailhead. The Clear Creek Trail is paved so it's accessible for strollers and bikes. There are no restroom facilities or drinking water located at the That Road trailhead. The Clear Creek Trail is open daily from 5 a.m. until 11 p.m.

The Born Learning Play Path officially opened July 15, 2011 in a kid-friendly ceremony.

The Born Learning Play Path is part of the United Way's Born Learning initiative, designed to help parents, caregivers and communities support early childhood development. Born Learning provides research-based ways to turn everyday moments into fun learning opportunities for young children.
