Position Description
Incumbent is responsible for data entry and information processing of a web-based work order tracking system for the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department Operations Division. In addition, incumbent serves as Customer Service Representative for the Cemetery and Operations Division office. Assists in the recordkeeping of Cemetery administration and assists the general public with burial and deed inquiries. Other duties as required.
Education
High school education or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Training/Special Skills
Ability to use modern office equipment including web based PC, various computer software, copier, fax, telephone.
- Comfortable in a customer service type position
- Be self-motivated and have the ability to interact and work well with co-workers and public
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to keep up with a high demand of data entry processing
- Ability to follow oral and written direction
- Must be reliable and punctual in attendance
- Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance
Hours
20 hours per week, Monday –Friday within the timeframe of 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. (Incumbent has the flexibility to fulfill the hours to meet individual schedule. Work is performed out of the office at 930 W. Fourth St.
