Salamander Meander

Salamanders are amazing creatures. Most start their lives as aquatic juveniles before growing into terrestrial adults. They can breathe through their skin, and can even regenerate a limb if it is lost. Perfect for nature lovers of all ages, this program will deepen your knowledge and appreciation of some of our local wildlife. Participants must be able to walk on gravel, hike uneven terrain, and go up and down stairs, but the distance we travel will be less than a mile.
