A notice of violation letter for line of sight obstruction was sent to the property owner. The property owner trimmed the shrubs, resolving the line of sight issue. The citizen who reported the obstruction was not contacted, as requested.
Reinspected site today. Trimming has been done. Sight distance is now adequate at this location.
Inspected intersection of Chestnut CT and Highland Ave yesterday 8/4/16. Bushes on SE corner obstruct the view of northbound traffic on Highland for motorists traveling West on Chestnut attempting to turn South onto Highland. Notification of Line of Sight Obstruction will be sent to property owner.
As your are leaving cul-de-sac you cannot see oncoming traffic.
