Duplicate report. City Planning staff visited the site on 03/27/2025 and measured the intensity (footcandle reading) of the lighting from one meter beyond the property line. This lighting was within the allowed threshold for lighting trespass. This lighting is compliant and is not in violation of lighting trespass limits. These lighting fixtures appear to be standard low-intensity decorative house lights. Full shielding is not required for light fixtures containing low-intensity light bulbs. Currently, there is no lighting violation for planning staff to address at this property. The complainant does not provide additional contact information or reach out directly to the Planning Department to discuss the lighting standards further to better understand how this is not a violation of our code standards.
