This building is falling apart and occupied. The gutter fell off the front of the roof 2 years ago and has never been replaced. Since then the roof has started to fall apart. You can see this from the street.

I work in the Hunter school building across from the old hospital demolition. I am concerned about the dust coming from the site as they tear it down. I am curious if the City can do a check into the safety of us breathing the dust when walking in and out of the building.
A broken bridge railing has been left unrepaired for over 1 year. The railing was broken by a falling tree. The tree was eventually removed but the bridge railing remains damaged. This was a new fixture in recent years and it remains unfixed for over 1 year. Will this be repaired?
While the abandoned home just north of my building has been boarded up by the property owner, the homeless are now entering the home by using the back porch stair/deck railing and hoisting themselves to the roof deck above and then entering through the sliding door there. I caught one popping their head up to see who pulled up yesterday morning, noticed that I saw him and then he ducked down below the windows. Windows are being covered up and doors are propped open on the front/back to allow a nice stream of air throughout to what seems to be the entire upstairs. The inability of the property owner to secure the ENTIRE home from entry by homeless is frustrating and should be taken seriously by the property owner because of the safety concerns that these instances create for myself, my family, my customers and many other citizens of Bloomington that are visiting Chocolate Moose, Bedrak and apartments near this location. Please advise on how this will be handled. Thank you.
Chimney at 628 E University is dropping rocks on our property at 630 E University St (you have our permission to inspect our property which is east of 628). After numerous requests to the property managers to fix this issue since Fall of 2021, and multiple requests by the City for them to fix it (beginning in January of 2022), it is still in disrepair and dropping rock on our property. One incident of major concern is a rock hit our gas valve and broke it. Gas was leaking. Gas company had to fix. Rocks are landing by our windows at ground level. We are in fear of our dogs being hit and us being hit in our yard. Please help us with this matter. High winds and storms during this season is making this, to us, an urgent matter.
The stone chimney is damaged and stones continue to fall from this home off their roof onto my property. The owner needs to do something with this chimney to make it safe.

The two building directly to the north of my building are currently unsafe with multiple viewings of homeless and users coming and going from in between the buildings. It's not safe for anybody to be back there with the activity that happens daily. The light on that property is also out and there have been homeless camping in the unkept wooded area behind my property that is owned by the City. I thought that the two buildings were to be torn down at one point, but it seems that the issues were temporarily fixed and the owner was allowed to keep the buildings up. The stairs and upper landing are unstable. The upper landing is warped and drooping in places.
