Intersection of 3rd and Pete Ellis is dangerous. Often a line for a left hand turn from 3rd develops to enter the B N parking lot. Island on 3rd doesn't allow traffic to get out of way from through traffic. Problem results in sudden braking and traffic congestion into College Mall and 3rd intersection. Citizen says Truck #413 (Sign Crew) was driving very slowly, turned onto her street, stopped in front of her driveway, started backing up without any warning and nearly hit her car. Only stopped after she blew her horn.

Signs have been put up for Walnut Creek development which are causing a line of sight problem.
There are young children on tricycles in the middle of the road. Mr. Wright has cautioned them before. If this is in fact a daycare, can we do something to keep the kids and their tricycles out of the road? There are many speeders along Montclair who might not see the children. This is very unsafe and something ought to be done about it.

AN E-MAIL COMPLAINT WAS RECEIVED IN THE UTILITIES DEPT. STATING THAT THE STREET LIGHTS AT 7TH & ROGERS WERE NOT OPERATING AND HAVE NOT BEEN OPERATING FOR OVER 2 WEEKS. THIS COMPLAINT WAS REFERRED TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPT.
