Fire hydrant blowing water at the corner of Rick Creek and Montclair
Fire hydrant blowing water at the corner of Rick Creek and Montclair
There has been water continuously seeping up from the ground (in about a 10 foot area) and has been spilling into the road over the past few weeks. The location is in the front yard of 610 W Ryan Rd along the curb. I have lived a few houses down for over two years and have never seen this area collect water for more than a day after rain/storms. I am unsure if its a break in a water main, but the water has been seeping out at a high enough rate that there is visible flow in the curb leading to the storm drain. The house is currently for sale, and I don't think anyone has been by to check on the property since the problem began.
Hello--My mother has 2 rental houses on Olive St. (1502 & 1504) that share a water meter. The 1502 S. Olive has the water meter on that property. What would it take to have 1504 S. Olive it's own meter? How much would it cost?
Top of water meter is off. You can see the gap to the left in the photo. I nudged it mostly back into place but can’t quite get it on and don’t know how to secure it. Meter is near southwest corner of yard, about 10 feet from Rose Avenue. Could be a hazard for pets, wildlife, or a person walking there.
Like to report a water leak in my customer service line, the rate appears to be roughly 10 gallons every 3 hours.
Possible broken water line in drive way area. Shared alley and family members who were living in the house said there was water coming up from the ground

My neighbors and I do not have running water
I wanted to report a possible erosion or settlement concern near the city-owned fire hydrant located on my property at 3521 S McDougal St in the Highlands subdivision. During recent rain events, I’ve observed significant standing water and a large, deep depression around the hydrant area. I’m concerned there may be washout, settlement, or another issue affecting the soil surrounding the hydrant or nearby utility infrastructure. I also wanted to note that there are currently two known sinkholes in the neighborhood, including one located approximately one block away from this hydrant, which increased my concern about the possibility of underground erosion or voids in the area. I’ve attached a photo showing the current conditions. I’m not sure whether this falls under Bloomington Utilities or another department, but I wanted to report it in case the hydrant or underlying infrastructure should be inspected.
My address is 1005 s Washington. For the last several months when my neighbor has his water on my water main hums (vibrates) until he turns it off. This is the only time it occurs, when he in running water. It doesn’t happen when I run water. It vibrates the floor in my bathroom and is extremely annoying. Yesterday, I went outside and opened the cover on his meter and the meter, inlet, and outlet were all vibrating. I asked him about it and he said it’s extremely loud in his house and at the front of the house is sound like a well pump is running. Could you check out his meter and make sure the water is on all the way or if his meter is bad?
