We have been asking for parking lines to be repainted on S Dunn St for a long time. I was assured by the city this would be done and it still hasn’t. Now people are receiving parking citations on our street. So we are paying fines for parking on a street the city is refusing to repaint. I would like the lines repainted and to receive clarity on why residents are being ticketed for parking in front of their own homes. Thanks!

There is a large piece of metal at the intersection of 2nd and Rogers (presumably covering up a pothole or other road issue). However, it is in the line of traffic and creates an extremely loud noise every time a vehicle drives over it making it difficult for anyone living in the general vicinity to sleep. Perhaps a different methodology could be used until the necessary road repairs are completed?

I am concerned about the north-south alley between E. Wilson and E. Driscoll running behind the 1300 blocks of S. Lincoln and S. Grant. The alley entrance at Wilson is not perpendicular to the street, curving onto the property at 1315 S. Lincoln. Furthermore, a large bush on the east side of the alley is blocking the sightline of the street; cars driving west on Wilson cannot see cars approaching the street from the alley, nor can cars in the alley see traffic approaching on Wilson. I request that the city straighten this part of the alley to align with the connecting north-south alleys and improve the sightline. Thank you.

South bound lane,West side of street, going uphill, there is a prominent outward portion of the curbing. It is painted yellow, but now black from repeated contact by vehicle tires. It needs to be rounded off, and move toward the sidewalk. When I struck this prominent angled curb, it resulted in a blowout of my right front tire. The Bland wrecker truck driver said “ Oh, I get lots of business from that curb” so my experience is not unique. Please fix for the nest drivers, and contact me if there are any questions. Last night (Friday, 19 June), I removed several mats covering drains on Queens Way at High St, just south of Wimbleton on High St, and on Arden near High St. They are part of the Jackson creek Trail Phase II project - but given the immense rain, they were causing dangerous street flooding (several feet high). They will need replacing.

The pavement is rough in the right turn lane from West Allen St onto South Larkspur Lane. I reported this on 5/6/2021 (https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=175697). The ticket was closed because “Crews were in your area 5-10-21.” However, there were no repairs done, so I’m reporting it again.

ATT and smithville were both doing work in the alley earlier this year. They dug a trench across the alley. They filled it in when done but now the trench is collapsing.

The summer road construction left the northbound lane of S. Henderson gravel with no pavement. This was a fine temporary solution, but the extended length of the lack of pavement has resulted in extremely rough and pitted roadway. Drivers are choosing to drive North in the Southbound lane instead and causing dangerous traffic situations. Can someone expedite either adding more compacted gravel or actually paving this piece of road? It is dangerous to drivers and their vehicles.
