Over the past several weeks (months?), it seems that more often than not the access control arms to the Morton St. parking garage have been open allowing free parking. This is great for those who don't have a permit, but it feels a little unfair to those of us who have a permit and continue to pay for parking. What's going on, how much longer is this anticipated to continue, and is there any recourse for permit holders? Thanks!

Parking Meter not working. Meter number 7671, in front of Chicos on M Walnut, last spot before the intersection with Kurkwood is not working. I put 2 quarters in and it did not register any time whatsoever. I'm only here for a half hour guitar lesson, so I am not about to try my debit card, but I don't want to be ticketed.

Parking Meter at the NE corner of Walnut and Kirkwood is not operating correctly. On 10/25, around 3:00 pm, additional time does not register when I added more coins. I put in 25 cents past an hour and the time did not change. Later, around 4:00 pm, I returned and added another 25 cents, and still the additional time did not register.

My sister has lived in Bloomington, near campus, for 30 years. I drive down from NWIndiana several times a year to visit her. The last time, in April, I received 2 parking tickets for parking in front of her house with an expired parking pass. Turns out, she never received the 2017 pass she paid for and thought the 2016 on her fridge WAS the 2017 pass. So now I'm out $40 (and I'm currently unemployed) and she's out whatever money she paid for the pass. I tried to appeal the tickets and they were DENIED. This is ridiculous. I am not a teenager or college student trying to pull a fast one. This was an honest mistake and I don't believe I should be charged. I no longer feel welcome by the city of Bloomington.

This has nothing to do with positive feedback. I received an overdue parking citation issued in 2011 to a license plate number. I was just issued this license plate # in May of 2013. The Dept of Motor Vehicles records will verify this. I want my name and this $40 due for an overdue parking citation removed from my name and records. Thank you. Go back to 2011 and find out who that license was issued to and seek payment from them.

On 12/3/15, I parked at a meter on Kirkwood in front of the library. I used my debit card and wanted to pay for three hours of parking. The meter would only give me one hour; it did not give me the option to add more time the way most of the meters do. I had to insert my card three times in order to get the desired amount of time, but I see that I was charged the 30 cent convenience fee each time. This car has been parked in front of 715 West 13th Street for over a week. Several of its tires are flat. It has not moved. Neighbors do not know whose car it is. It appears to have been abandoned here. Can you please tow it? It is right in front of my house where I usually park.
