I’m wondering if there’s a map of farmer’s market vendors? I found a blank map, and a list, but not the two together. Thanks!

Disappointing checkout experience at Griffey Lake boat rental Saturday evening (12th) with male worker. I was with a group of strangers I had never met before for a function. In other words we were independent paddlers who did not know each other's names, etc. before today but happened to paddle together to make new friends. Worker was very rude about not wanting to make us change independently and refused to do so despite us requesting it. He said he only gives ones to "people who need it." A person I was with asked, "People like us?" And he said no. He did not know our situation and rushed to judgment. There is likelihood we will never see each other again and yet he only gave a single large bill and told us to deal with it. He should have tried solutions like asking if anyone had credit, asked what change people had to try to figure something out, etc. but instead assumed we were college kids who could figure it out while his ones were saved for folks he felt deserved them more. Again, we paddled together but did not drive together and did not know each other prior to today. One of us isn't even from the country. We paid independently. He also admitted the problem with ones was known to him yesterday. So he should have found a solution if was a known problem earlier. Not end of the world but a bad way to end an experience and disappointing lack of care and customer service from a public servant being a public servant myself. Please have a talk about trying to better find solutions for customers and making them feel respected with this worker. Thank you. His assumption was not crazy but he was not open to correction. He did not ask us if we were ok with splitting change or even apologize to my recollection. Don't fire this worker of course, not that the City would, but he needs to improve.

Follow up to Griffey comment. The woman working Saturday night was nice and had no issues though.

The website has the junior golf camp fee listed at $160 when trying to register, yet the program guide and the Cascades info online as the fee as $75 city/ $85 outside city. When trying to register, the final fee listed for charge is $160. Which is correct and can this be rectified?

I'd like to invite one of my friends to one of the classes: Utilizing Water in the Landscape, but there is no way to share the course description with him! Ordinarily I would cut and paste the description from a .pdf, but the format the Summer 2013 Program Guide is in doesn't let me do that. I'm not going to send him the whole thing --- that's way too much information. Please let me know if there is some way I can just cut and paste one of the course descriptions. Thanks for your help!

Good afternoon, My name is Mike Krashen. I am marketing intern for Bloomington Brands LLC. We are currently searching for an experienced gardener who can contribute to our PlantersPlace.com video gallery. Bloomington Brands operates the PlantersPlace.com website where visitors can access gardening tips, photos, videos, and much more. In our video section, we have a library of "how-to" gardening tips videos hosted by gardening experts. We are currently looking for local video hosts in Bloomington who are knowledgeable about a variety of gardening topics. We came across the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department and wanted to reach out to see if you might be able to recommend anyone who is qualified for this position. We pay $100 per video posted on our website. Here is the link to our current video page: http://www.plantersplace.com/resources/video_gallery If you know of anybody at the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department that would be qualified and interested, please let us know. I'm not exactly sure who to get in contact with, but I am the Director of Public Relations for Garden Villa here in Bloomington and in Bedford. I was wanting to speak with someone regarding the senior programs that you offer in the community and be able to offer those to our residents and possibly help grow your services. If someone could please let me know who I can talk to I would appreciate it. My contact information is below. Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from someone! Hi, there. Not sure who to send this to, so I'm hoping you can forward it on. First, I recently came across this idea of closing streets (temporarily) to allow kids to play. I think it would be amazing to see something like this in Bloomington. http://www.reading.gov.uk/residents/community-and-living/play-streets/ Secondly, I took my three year old to Touch a Truck this year. What a wonderful event! We had a blast. He has been every year of his life, but this was the first time I was able to go with him. I wanted to give my feedback about the amount of candy at the event. It seems like it was everywhere and several other moms I talked to were really upset about it (especially since a lot of it was hard candy or really chewy stuff that can be a choking hazard for very young children). I think the trucks are the main event and the kids are so excited to see them. Adding candy to the mix just complicates things unnecessarily. Personally, I was really surprised to see the giant colors of fruit drinks (which I assume were donated by Pepsi). It was SO hot outside. I had forgotten our water bottles and really would have loved a drink of cold water. Our kids don't drink fruit drinks, so we just waited until we left and got water bottles elsewhere. But I would hope that Parks & Rec is all about encouraging healthy bodies, right? Maybe Pepsi could bring some water next year. Thanks.
