The metal statue near marker 116 on b line is still a dangerous piece of shit. Make it self-support and stop encroaching on the trail (this will require structural changes) or get rid of it thanks

I'm wondering if there's been any thoughts about developing a mountain biking loop around lake griffy? I'm sure that we could get some volunteer and local business support for building and maintaining something and maybe work with the university on a mtb'ing club who could also be trail stewards. Additionally, maybe some trail connectivity through that area could enable realistic bike commuting to Marlin Elementary. I don't think anyone wants to take their child on a bike down Griffy dam hill or old 37. I would be interested in meeting with someone and getting back into public service if a champion of the idea was needed. Thanks!

I wanted to ask the city to consider re-repairing the section of the Rails to Trails trail between the roundabout near Church Lane and Country Club road. Whoever attempted to "repair" that section several weeks ago either did not know what they were doing or did not care. I actually watched them put the initial layer of loose gravel down and it was obvious that the workers had never done that kind of thing before on a trail. The loose gravel used to "repair" some low spots has become a "death trap" for unsuspecting bikers. I am an experienced biker and almost went down on my mountain bike. An attempt was made to cover this loose gravel with a mixture of crushed and packed limestone, but that has become a bumpy mess. PLEASE get someone to properly repair this section before someone is seriously injured.

Hello - I'm concerned about the use of the herbicide glyphosate on our city medians and on the B-Line Trail. Please stop using this chemical immediately - it's killing bees. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1y1sdsyIWCfovyoTuvyMWRLRQyn0z1P5O5ntTM1MOct8/pubhtml?gid=216428649&single=true I understand it reduces the manual labor involved in weed removal, but when measured against the environmental impact on vulnerable species, I don't think its use can be defended. https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2018/09/common-weed-killer-believed-harmless-animals-may-be-harming-bees-worldwide Thank you for your time. The bike path along Sare Road south of the intersection with Olcott is rapidly deteriorating due to continuous water flow over the path that washes dirt, branches and rocks onto the path. Something needs to be done to divert this water away from the path. In the winter the water freezes, leaving the path coated with a sheet of ice. Very dangerous for bikes and pedestrians.
