Hello! There has been an RV parked in our neighborhood street for around a month, and does not have tags. Individuals come and go from it frequently, to the house it's parked in front of and to the RV. I am concerned about the safety it presents to people in our area. Hi, Yesterday, I parked in the 4th St garage. The fee was only 25 cents, but the machine would not accept quarters, they kept dropping into the basket, so I inserted a one dollar bill. I didn't get any change back and the receipt says "short amount: $0.75, go to the operator for a refund". I know it's only 75 cents, but how do I get my 75 cents back? Thanks.

Over the past several weeks (months?), it seems that more often than not the access control arms to the Morton St. parking garage have been open allowing free parking. This is great for those who don't have a permit, but it feels a little unfair to those of us who have a permit and continue to pay for parking. What's going on, how much longer is this anticipated to continue, and is there any recourse for permit holders? Thanks!

Parking Meter not working. Meter number 7671, in front of Chicos on M Walnut, last spot before the intersection with Kurkwood is not working. I put 2 quarters in and it did not register any time whatsoever. I'm only here for a half hour guitar lesson, so I am not about to try my debit card, but I don't want to be ticketed.
Parking Meter at the NE corner of Walnut and Kirkwood is not operating correctly. On 10/25, around 3:00 pm, additional time does not register when I added more coins. I put in 25 cents past an hour and the time did not change. Later, around 4:00 pm, I returned and added another 25 cents, and still the additional time did not register.
Meter broken. Gave 10 min for $1, card slot blocked/vandalized.
My sister has lived in Bloomington, near campus, for 30 years. I drive down from NWIndiana several times a year to visit her. The last time, in April, I received 2 parking tickets for parking in front of her house with an expired parking pass. Turns out, she never received the 2017 pass she paid for and thought the 2016 on her fridge WAS the 2017 pass. So now I'm out $40 (and I'm currently unemployed) and she's out whatever money she paid for the pass. I tried to appeal the tickets and they were DENIED. This is ridiculous. I am not a teenager or college student trying to pull a fast one. This was an honest mistake and I don't believe I should be charged. I no longer feel welcome by the city of Bloomington.
