There was a vehicle accident over a week ago which damaged the ditch and threw debris and ditch stone along Smith Road. The area is located 2 blocks south of 3rd St on Smith Rd.

Where the Clear Creek passes under the Country Club Dr. bridge there is a large amount of tree debris which is creating a dam. This is putting additional stress on the bridge during rain events as it is physically pushing on the structure. The tree damn is also collecting large amounts of trash and the situation is worsening with every rain.

Drainage channel near 10th and Fairview is clogged with debris from recent flooding events. It needs to be dug out to allow water to drain and avoid breeding mosquitoes. Location is halfway between Fairview and the path connecting Butler Park to the B line.

Two of the drains in the same block of Woodlawn (between 2nd and Hunter) are blocked with leaves. I don't live there, just noticed on a recent walk.

On the south side of Winslow at the west side of Piccadilly there has been progressive erosion where the drain pipe goes under Piccadilly. Whenever we get a strong rain for five or ten minutes the ditch backs up on the east side of Piccadilly and does not flow freely under the road. The erosion mentioned has noticeably progressed this year and if left unabated the road will eventually be at risk of breaking at its edge. Also, be aware that the heavy rains flood the east side ditch and form a pool over the sidewalk which also spills out onto Winslow. We can see this from our home. When we have a large rainfall, raw sewage bubbles out of my in-laws front yard. They are at the lowest point of the sanitary sewer line by the sewer lift pump. This only happens after a large rainfall. The issue is backflow from the sewer main. Their front yard clean out plug becomes the overflow valve for the neighborhood sanitary sewer. They have had their sewer line inspected and the issue is not a back-up from the house to the street. I walked through a stream of human waste and toilet paper that was bubbling up in their front yard and running down their driveway towards North Walnut this morning. There seems to be a communication between the storm and the sanitary sewers leading to a release of raw sewage in my in-laws front yard that poses a health risk. This has happened three times this spring and poses a health risk. This needs to be repaired correctly.
