Drainage or Runoff

Reporting again as I have not heard from anyone about this issue. There is no sign that the development has done anything to fix this issue. In addition they have increased their work behind our house including starting work with large tractors just before 6:30am. It's very loud and was reported to the police.
Previous information already sent:
Behind our house (to the west) is the Kinser Ridge development. After their work moving around dirt last week (they started on Monday 5/18) and then the resulting rain has inundated the silt fence and it is no longer standing and rainwater mixed with silt pours over when it rains.
The worst was Wednesday 5/20 where the silt poured down our driveway, flooded our garage and left 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch of silt in many parts of our driveway once the rain stopped. There has been no change in the silt fence despite my husband (Tom Grano) reporting to the city in multiple departments and speaking with the foreman of the development. Today (5/26) the development is once again moving around dirt in that area. The silt fence needs to be repaired and a more permanent solution needs to be found as soon as possible, especially with a high probability of rain the next few days.
Our house is not the only property that has been impacted as the west lane of Kinser Pike flooded on Wednesday 5/20 and the silt could be seen as far down as Bayles.

Along the northern property line of 2520 N Fritz Drive a serious flooding problem occurs each time there is heavy rainfall. Flooding occurs in my back yard. I have taken videos
of this problem. The rainfall from North Dunn Street cascades westward down onto the property behind my home. That business has a large parking lot. That allows water from Dunn Street to run onto my property. If the trees are removed and a street is added on the property at 2511 N Dunn Street, the problem that now exists for my back yard will increasingly become worse. I have added several loads of topsoil to the back yard due to erosion and to protect the home's foundation.
At the front of my property, I also have flooding issues. Fritz Drive has a download slope towards N Walnut Street. Floodwaters run into my driveway and erode that area. I have had landscapers add several loads of topsoil and install drainage pipes to relieve some of the water issues.
These floodwaters from North Dunn into our neighborhood are channeled westward beneath North Walnut into Cascades Park. There are issues of pollution with these floodwaters. Health issues should be considered for our community members.

Drainage or Runoff
3052 N Ramble RD W

More than 15 years ago, a wide utility cut was made in front of our property at 3052 N Ramble Rd W in Blue Ridge Addition. We were told then that the street would be repaved and the gutter corrected. The path of the gutter to the storm drain at the corner never allowed the water to go to the drain because it dipped and didn't allow the water to travel because of that. It also stopped at our mailbox and creates quite the ice pond in the winter. When they came to repave our street, I spoke with the gentlemen doing the paving and asked if they were going to fix the gutter as well. (And let it be said how grateful I am for the repaving!!! Bravo!!!). I was told that was a different department. I had quit cleaning the gutter , tho I had kept it clean for years, as I grew weary of the bad street crumbling into the gutter. I was not going to clean it of street crumblings and pay to have it taken away in my trash anymore. Now the gutter, having been cleaned to apply the asphalt, still does not run to the drain because the slope has never been addressed. Why they didn't see this when they were going through the neighborhood fixing gutters, I don't know. I never saw the gutter crew around our property so I didn't ask. Can something be done? I don't like having guests parking in a lake. And the winter danger to come is not acceptable. Thank you for anything you can do for this problem. I'm happy to discuss this with anyone appropriate to the matter.

Any time it rains, a large body of standing water forms in the alleyway behind 530 N Lincoln St, near our apartment complex dumpster that makes it hazardous to walk through, drive through, use the dumpster, use the alleyway, and this could potentially be harmful for the structure of Stonechruch Apartments. There were just stormwater improvements to Lincoln St between 7th and 8th, is it possible to install a stormwater drainage grate here?

Noticed constant water run off at this intersection while driving by. First observed Thursday morning (5/21), then again Thursday evening, and water continues to flow as of Friday morning (5/22). Not sure if it's a water main issue or something else.

Several months ago a new culvert was installed underneath Browncliff which was intended to help the property across the street drain more effectively. Yesterday, in the torrential rain, the sheer volume of water became a literal fast flowing river across several properties on the west side of Browncliff Lane. this amount of water can't possibly be due to residential properties on Browncliff, Matlock and Headley. my guess is that it is actually unmanaged runoff from the IU golf course, which means it is probably full of fertilizers and pesticides. Since there is no effective water management anywhere on these roads, the water becomes a river, then a lake. I do not believe this is a natural floodplain, (since water on my property seems to naturally flow through a natural swale). This seems to be unmanaged water from other areas that simply hasn't been dealt with properly.
